About BPEWS
Bangladesh Private Employees Welfare Society (BPEWS) is a Non-political, Non-sectarian (liberal), Progressive, Volunteer and Non-profitable national organization of the country. It was registered under the Societies Registration ACT, 1860. It is working for private sector employees rights, dignity & social value. It has been working relentlessly to build up close and co-operative relations among the private sector’s employees. One of the major goals of BPEWS is to ensure professional excellence & continuous professional development of private sectors employees all over the country.
Mission & Vision
- BPEWS will work jointly & closely with the employer & employees to create a nurturing workplace environment where every employee feels valued, secure, and empowered to reach their full potential.
- BPEWS will play a functional and effective role to build up social security policy and a benevolent environment for the professional safety & legal rights of private sector employees.
- To advocate for professional legal rights, and the protection of fundamental needs in the professional arena.
- BPEWS will work to create positive awareness among employers and employees regarding employee benefits & rights and work responsibility as per labour law.
- BPEWS will provide legal support to employees if members face any legal problem at their current/ previous work place.
- If any women face any mental & physical harassment at work place then BPEWS will protest and stand beside her strongly as well as work to create social awareness on it.
- To provide support through CSR policy for the needy, including children, the elderly, the injured, and the marginalized.
- To provide comprehensive welfare services – including health, education, and financial assistance-that uplift the quality of social life for our members and their families.
- BPEWS will establish educational institutes for offering skill training and career development opportunities.
