Message from the President

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the Bangladesh Private Employees Welfare Society (BPEWS).

The private sector has become an integral pillar of Bangladesh’s socio-economic development, industrial growth, trade, investment, and employment generation. At the heart of this sector are millions of private-sector employees who, through their knowledge, skills, dedication, experience, and hard work, make significant contributions to the growth of their respective organizations and to the advancement of our national economy.

Recognizing and valuing this contribution, while promoting awareness of employees’ legitimate rights, professional dignity, welfare, and social security, is an important responsibility and a growing necessity in today’s changing world of work.

It is within this broader context that the Bangladesh Private Employees Welfare Society (BPEWS) has emerged as a non-political, welfare-oriented, and responsible social platform dedicated to the interests and well-being of private-sector employees. Our purpose extends beyond establishing an organization; we aspire to build a sustainable culture of unity, mutual cooperation, rights awareness, professional excellence, social responsibility, and employee welfare among private-sector professionals across Bangladesh.

BPEWS firmly believes that ensuring the legitimate rights, dignity, and welfare of employees contributes directly to greater confidence, productivity, professional commitment, and organizational performance. A skilled, secure, respected, and motivated workforce is essential to building a stronger economy and a more prosperous society.

With this vision, BPEWS is committed to promoting awareness of labour and employment-related laws, employee welfare, social security, professional development, skills enhancement, mutual assistance, ethical values, and humanitarian responsibility.

We also believe that the relationship between employees and employers should be founded upon mutual respect, trust, fairness, professionalism, and cooperation. While protecting the legitimate rights and dignity of employees is essential, professionalism, integrity, accountability, and commitment to organizational responsibilities are equally important. Maintaining this balanced and constructive perspective is fundamental to our approach.

Our aspiration is for BPEWS to gradually develop into a strong, credible, and nationally recognized platform where private-sector employees from different professions and regions can come together, exchange knowledge and experience, support one another, enhance their professional capabilities, and contribute positively to society.

Throughout this journey, we are committed to upholding the principles of transparency, accountability, discipline, integrity, humanity, inclusiveness, and responsible organizational governance. The true strength of an organization is not measured merely by the number of its members, but by their mutual trust, sense of responsibility, active participation, and collective commitment to a shared vision.

I therefore invite all members, professionals, well-wishers, and stakeholders to actively engage with BPEWS and contribute to this meaningful initiative. Through collective effort, mutual cooperation, and a strong spirit of unity, I firmly believe that we can help build a more dignified, secure, productive, and welfare-oriented professional environment for private-sector employees in Bangladesh.

May the commitment of BPEWS to the welfare of private-sector employees remain sustainable, meaningful, effective, and relevant for generations to come.

With the collective support and sincere participation of all, I am confident that BPEWS will continue to move forward toward achieving its vision and fulfilling its responsibilities to the private-sector workforce and society at large.

I extend my sincere wishes for the continued well-being, dignity, prosperity, and professional advancement of all private-sector employees.

Strength in Unity — Progress through Trust — Commitment to Welfare.
